Last Quarter at Dalgo: July – September 2025

Oct 2025

The last quarter marked a turning point for Dalgo. We built and moved closer to the beta release of Dalgo 2.0 — introducing it to new NGOs at our Bootcamp and putting it in the hands of our existing partners during our Sprint. It’s been a quarter of movement and milestones — one that’s shaped what the next chapter of Dalgo will look like. That’s what this edition is about — a look at what’s been built, what we’ve learned, and what’s next.

But first, a big milestone. Dalgo turned two on September 15th. Anniversaries are a moment to pause, to look back at how far we’ve come and to look ahead with conviction. For us, the past two years have been about co-building with NGOs – learning from every request, every support query, every conversation in the field.

Our second birthday also marked a new beginning. We welcomed Pradeep Kaushik as Dalgo’s Head of Engineering – joining at exactly the right time, as Dalgo 2.0 begins to take shape. The journey to 2.0 has been steady and deliberate. In April, we set the strategy for where Dalgo needed to go next. From April through June, NGOs helped, NGOs helped us refine that direction through feedback and prototyping – as documented in our Data to Direction webinar. By September, that vision came alive through the Dalgo Bootcamp and Sprint, where partners explored early builds and tested new ideas. Read more about them below.

Insights From Our Data to Insights Bootcamp

In September, we ran our first Data to Insights Bootcamp in Bangalore. Seven NGOs — Dani Sports Foundation, Piramal Swasthya, One Billion Lives Foundation, Dasra, Durga, IHCRF, and ATREE — sat side by side, each with very different missions but one shared challenge: how do we turn messy, raw data into insights? The bootcamp was designed to make that journey faster, less lonely, and more practical – a chance to experience Dalgo hands-on.

Over two days, NGOs built automated dashboards with dedicated hands-on support from Dalgo’s product and consulting teams – troubleshooting data issues, setting up transformations, and customising visualisations in real time. They shared stories of what worked and left with a sense of what’s possible when data starts guiding tomorrow’s decisions. One participant said that what they achieved in those two days might otherwise have taken them six months — a reminder of why creating these spaces matters. Read Priyesh’s detailed account of the Bootcamp or watch a short video here.

Soon after, we hosted our Dalgo Sprint with existing partners like Ummeed, STiR Education, Noora Health, INREM Foundation, Baala, Bhumi, Antarang Foundation and Make a Difference. Here too, the center of gravity was Dalgo 2.0. NGOs tested new features, offered candid feedback, and engaged with storytelling — how charts, alerts, and dashboards could better reflect their realities. By engaging deeply, they showed us how Dalgo stands to solve their lived problems.

NGO Sprint Highlights

Next stop? The launch of Dalgo 2.0 this November — shaped by the insights, feedback, and stories shared over the past few months. These moments – the anniversary, the bootcamp, the sprint – don’t exist in silos. Together, they mark Dalgo’s journey into its next chapter: one where automation is just the baseline, and the real work is helping NGOs learn from data with ease, ownership, and confidence. We’re always eager to learn how you use data, what challenges you face, and where Dalgo could help. Talk to us – we’d love to hear from you.
